Yes it does. A regular salt you buy in the store, flake salt or finely ground table salt is a refined salt where minerals and vitamins have been extracted and only sodium chloride remains. You've probably heard that salt raises blood pressure and it's true, but it's salt like regular table salt with such a high sodium content. They are usually about 99.5% sodium and basically no minerals, and they also contain anti-caking agents etc. The largest amount of salt you get is in processed food and convenience food where it is hidden. It is the salt you should be careful with and not the extra salt that you add to the food. But make sure that what you salt your food is of high quality and as nutritious as possible!
An unrefined sea salt, on the other hand, only contains around 85% sodium and as much as 20% trace elements, minerals and vitamins compared to 1.6% in the average table salt. An unrefined sea salt such as Celtic Sea Salt or Celtic sea salt as it is now called is very good, does not raise blood pressure in the same way as ordinary table salt and contains many nutrients. Celtic Sea Salt is considered to be the finest salt you can get your hands on and is used in fine luxury restaurants worldwide. Take a couple of grains of salt in a glass of water and drink. Then you get the same salinity as the water in your cells, the cells absorb the water more easily and you get a lot of vitamins and minerals at the same time. You should take a mineral supplement with iodine at the top as this salt is not iodine enriched. You can also supplement with Herbamare herbal salt which contains kelp which in turn contains iodine.
If you purify your water with, for example, the ZERO water jug, the filter effectively removes PFAS (dangerous micro-substances which are basically non-degradable, but the filter also takes vitamins and minerals into the water. Then it is very important to add minerals to the water and then the easiest and cheapest to add a pinch of Celtic Seasalt to the filtered water to restore the mineral balance.
